Children’s Talk (12th August 2018) – Living in Harmony
2 Samuel 18: 5-9, 15, 31-33 4
Ephesians 4: 25- 5: 2
John 6: 35, 41-51
So this morning I wanted your help in sharing a story together that is as old as time itself. A story that brings us all here to church every Sunday.
I’m also going to need some special volunteer musicians from the Sunday School. Hand out some musical instruments to the children – this could be shakers, tambourines if you have them. For a more basic option – an upturned bucket makes a great drum. All stories have a rhythm and a tempo. Have someone play a simple beat that the congregation can clap along to and the children can join in with with their instruments.
If you have other musicians within the congregation have them join in and build up the song one-by-one until everyone is playing and clapping along in unison.
If you’ve found the resources on the website helpful why not show your appreciation by buying me a coffee with a $5 pledge on patreon? The extra caffeine will help produce even more youth and children’s work resources!
